Let’s grow Sharks!
If you predicted the Beard-a-thon would add a Sharks page before Joe Thornton and Co. scored a power play goal in this year’s playoffs, ding ding ding — you’re a winner! All proceeds from the Sharks’ fundraiser, which now boasts nine team-specific pages, will go to the Center for Presidents’ Trophy Winners Who Can’t Play Good in the Playoffs, or the Sharks Foundation. We’re not really sure.
Dan Boyle says the Sharks aren’t done, but “we’re going to need our leaders to step up and everyone else to follow.”
And that means you. Yeah, you with the razor. Put it down, grow one for the team, go to the site, and, for goodness sake, upload your photos now. As of this posting, there are four beards on the Sharks page, which, quite frankly, is embarrassing. Kind of like going 0-for-12 on the power play, only uglier.
