Raiders fans: Excited; Crabtree: Not so much
Let’s hope Michael Crabtree doesn’t pull an Eli Manning on the Raiders at tomorrow’s draft. When asked about the Raiders in an online chat this week, Crabtree said “No comment.” And then the comment disappeared from the chat. Apparently it was the most inflammatory “No comment” ever typed. Does this portend a hatred of the Raiders? Do you really want to express outer hatred toward the Raiders? Have you seen their fans? RF365
Also this week, Tony Gonzalez left the AFC West, and Oakland fans danced. If you can call it that.
When you wake up tomorrow, the Sharks will still be losing 3-1 to the Ducks. Yep. Many around the Bay are ready to call it, but not Couch Tarts, who are surprisingly not tart about the situation. Many of the voices from around the ’sphere want the Sharks to trade Marleau or Thornton. McLellan calls them the core but the core is looking a little bit like that apple I threw away last week. You’ll be happy to know Lowell Cohn got his cable hooked up after all that consternation. Thank the Cable Gods. CohnZohn
Barry Zito unleashed some (semi) fury on reporters after a nice outing last night. Tonight, Tim Lincecum knocked some money off the price of a bleacher seat next week with 12 strikeouts. Use GIANTSK when buying bleacher seats for next Wednesday’s game against the Dodgers to get the discount. Gotta love those recession-era promotions.

[...] the Raiders didn’t take Crabtree because of his fatty diss Thursday, or maybe they were worried that Crabtree is too much a product of the system at Texas [...]
