Barry Bonds does not think, Brian Wilson does not Twitter
Barry Bonds was back at AT&T Park tonight and back to his usual Good Barry/Bad Barry ways. The man is like a walking mindf—. In an interview with some reporters, happy-smiley Barry kept twisting their words around. Most of the transcript is up at Extra Baggs. The best one is this:
Q: Are you enjoying being out of the spotlight?
A: I’m not. That light is killing me.
…in reference to the light on top of a camera in his face. See what he did there? If you saw it on CSN, you know he was also asked if he’s had time to reflect “on the past few years,” and he said “I haven’t really thought about it.” Hmm. That’s a whole lot of time to not think about your non-transgressions, you non-steroid user.
Also today, Brian Wilson nuked his Twitter account. So sad. We can only hope his partner in Twitter crime Barry Zito doesn’t follow suit. What happened? Wilson maybe tweeted about partying Saturday night, then he blew a save. And then the world exploded. Here’s what a sour Wilson had to say today:
This Twitter crap, I’ve obviously got to stop because people are taking it too serious. My aspect of that is I write a bunch of stuff that’s not true. It’s made up. Obviously I’m not doing things like going toe-to-toe with a ninja. Find me a ninja, for one.
Oh, good, I thought he was fighting ninjas. He does the “X” after he kills one, right?
