At least one reason to watch tonight’s Lakers-Nuggets game

gsw1If recent history is any indication — and it’s really not, given that ping-pong balls have no sense of these things — Larry Riley and the Warriors won’t draw the No. 2 pick at today’s NBA Draft Lottery. But Dubs fans can hope. Should Golden State, which has a 4.3 percent chance to win the No. 1 overall pick and a 4.9 percent chance to win the No. 2 pick, strike it rich, however, it would be the first feel-good moment for the franchise in a very long time. If they land the No. 2 pick and draft Ricky Rubio, they could then trade him to the Clippers straight up for Baron Davis. Woohoo!
