DeAngelo Hall has a place in mind for Michael Vick

vick1Former Raider and current Redskin DeAngelo Hall went on the John Thompson Show in Washington, DC, on Thursday and talked about his former Falcons teammate and free man Michael Vick. Specifically, Hall speculated on where Vick might find a new home in the NFL. (Here’s one vote for Cleveland’s Dawg Pound). Not surprisingly, Hall, whose short stint in Oakland was tumultuous to say the least, didn’t mention Al Davis and the Raiders as a potential suitor for Vick, but he did have some nice things to say about the team across the Bay.

“I think the perfect situation for him would be a place like San Francisco. You got a guy like Mike Singletary, known to motivate players, known to get guys… to just see the light. I think that’s a great situation for Mike. I know Mike Singletary would love to have him out there, so I think that’s a great situation where he could definitely flourish in that scheme. I don’t know offensive line-wise, would he be still running for his life like he was in Atlanta, but coaching-wise they have a great coaching staff that could help mature him even more as a player and as a person.”

Singletary has, in fact, been known to motivate players. For what it’s worth, Singletary hasn’t said “absolutely not” to bringing Vick aboard.  WTEM 980
