LaRussa whiffs on chance to make history

tony-larussa-twitter1Fake Twitterers everywhere LOLed today as Tony “Perry Mason” LaRussa dropped his suit against Twitter for housing a fake Tony LaRussa.

This was probably for the best; LaRussa apparently didn’t stand much of a chance in court. One law expert told ESPN the case would “completely lose at the end of the day.”

The suit did have a postive side effect: Twitter started verifying accounts, which took some people by surprise. OK, “some people” meaning Mark Madsen.
