UFL in San Francisco: Some suggestions

See, the league has its cities and coaches identified, so we know there’ll be a team helmed by Denny Green playing at AT&T Park. And there was a draft, so there are some players to root for. But, shockingly, the league still doesn’t have team nicknames or mascots.

We’re sitting here, Visa cards at the ready, prepared to plunk down for Wildcat hats, Spartan jerseys and Ferries (if only they took a cue from BASEketball) banners. But the UFL is denying us.

So we decided to goose the league a bit with some team suggestions. Using EA Sports’ NCAA Team Builder, we created some teams from scratch. We can only hope the new team’s real fashion choices are as good as the Fashion’s choices.
