Redwoods sign some raw talent
The San Francisco — excuse us – California Redwoods announced the signing of 31 players Tuesday. Someone might want to inform Denny Green that the Redwoods are California’s team.
“There’s a tremendous amount of raw talent on this San Francisco squad that just needs some finessing and the opportunity to show their abilities,” Green said.
Among the raw talent to sign with the Redwoods is return specialist B.J. Sams, who has the lowest overall rating in Madden ‘10. Hey, that’s more than former Cal Davis receiver Brandon Rice can say. Cal linebacker Worrell Williams and Fresno State nosetackle Jason Stewart were the other two players with NorCal college ties to sign with the ‘Woods on Tuesday.
