The Tennessee Titans’ brick-toss drills

As if it wasn’t tough enough catching footballs — just ask Darrius Heyward-Bey, oh! — the Titans get bricks tossed at them during training camp. The drill was installed by receivers coach Fred Graves, who also did the drill with Detroit’s first-round receiver babies when he coached there. So, the effectiveness is under dispute but the scariness isn’t. “You’re not going to let the brick hit you in the stomach,” Roy Williams said in 2005. And you surely don’t want to let the brick hit you in the nuts. Aaaand, we’re out.
