Is Nellie dealing with the Devil and Mark Cuban?
Much is being made of Stephen Jackson’s demands to be traded from the Warriors. Much more will be made of it if the Dubs end up dealing Jackson to Dallas.
That’s the rumor supplied by DallasBasketball.com and analyzed by Fanhouse. Nellie has reportedly been in talks with the Mavs about something … and Jackson sure is something … of a petulant child for turning his back on the forgiving Dubs.
Both those sites and Kawakami posit that perhaps Golden State is instead trying to move Monta Ellis to Dallas. Which would make sense since the Warriors have a younger, cheaper version of Monta named Stephen Curry. And Steph Curry has never seen a moped in his life. Probably.
Whatever happens, we can only hope for a Nellie-Cuban reunion. Maybe Mark could make a TV show out of it.

Michael Crabtree is now officially the last unsigned draft pick of the first round. Texas Tech coach Mike Leach and 49ers owner Jed York will be on Chronicle Live tonight to discuss.
Former Sharks coach Ron Wilson admitted he was rooting against San Jose in last spring’s playoffs because he didn’t want to feel like he was the only one who “totally effed it up” in 2007-08. We would love it if Ron would just coach his own team and shut the eff up about the Sharks. Toronto Sun
The Sharks made a deal with Vancouver that miiiiiight pave the way to get Dany Heatley, but probably not. Working the Corners
A bunch of bees swarmed agent Scott Boras’ box at Anaheim Stadium during today’s game between the Angels and A’s. Insert joke about MLB teams getting stung by Boras here. SportsByBrooks
If you thought Brian Wilson looked scary, imagine Randy Johnson loping out from the bullpen in late-season relief work for the Giants. It could happen. Merc
Two things to ponder from the Twitter world as you launch the week:
From Josh Childress…
And from Rod Benson…
