Prince’s little pre-planned celebration after his walk-off home run Sunday seems to have irked the Giants. The more coverage it gets, the more embarrassing it will be for them. And that’s perhaps why they took out their frustrations on the Padres Monday, clubbing three home runs in a 9-4 route.
Brad “Lincecum’s broseph” Penny got a little hot today, perhaps angry that he won’t have any Brewers to plunk over the rest of the season. After Adrian Gonzalez admired his home run a little too much, Penny yelled at him as he rounded third, then gestured toward the dugout at the end of the inning.
Maybe they should rework the slogan to “We’re all emotional about this thing.”
