Raise your hand if you enjoy being a Warrior

Clippers Warriors Basketball

Nobody? Anybody? Somebody?

Yeah, it’s not getting any better for the Golden State Warriors. Here’s a reverse timeline of this week:

Today: Monta Ellis gets in a verbal altercation after practice with Don Nelson, who leaves the arena in a huff. After he had already left the arena and come back. Monta says he gets “blamed for everything.” Somebody should tell him there’s plenty of blame to go around. There’s plenty more of that to come.

Wednesday: Nelson plays Jackson for less than 20 minutes, and tells reporters he had a “sore back or hip or something.” Jackson says “Ain’t nothing wrong with my hip.” But he never said anything about the back! What about the BACK. See, there’s no problem here. Move along.

Earlier Wednesday: Before the game, Nelson tells reporters “We’d like to trade (Jackson).” At this point, the Warriors will take a box of Air Jordans for their former captain.

Monday: The Warriors win a game and there is almost no drama to be found. Fans break into spontaneous Glee song and dance routines at Oracle Arena.

Sunday: The Warriors fall 120-107 to the Sacramento Kings in what Jackson calls “another beat down.” Later, Jackson’s agent Mark Stevens absolutely clubs Nelson and the team. Stevens says “It can’t get any worse.”

But it did, Mark Stevens. It sure did.
